Independent & Assisted Living
When some people hear terms like “assisted living,” or “retirement community,” they think that these are places where people go when they’ve given up on life.
At Cortland Place, our vision is completely different. Our residents come here because they share our belief that life is good, and they want to experience life to the fullest. Their families and loved ones can rest assured that all residents enjoy the best possible quality of life here at Cortland Place. We consider ourselves a “loving living” facility.
Sure, our residents need help with certain tasks that they used to be able to perform themselves. We provide that help. We also offer as many opportunities as possible to allow residents to be independent and to do the things that they love to do, in a setting that makes them feel wanted, respected, and involved with others.
We can provide apartment-style living, assisted living, skilled nursing, or rehabilitative services to residents on either a short-term or long-term basis.
Our residents are not all elderly. A number of people who call Cortland Place their home are young to middle-aged residents who, for one reason or another, need some sort of help with everyday living. Our unique blend of age groups makes for a more diverse, vibrant environment.
