Cortland Place Annual Cruise Day 2010
On Saturday, August 14, 2010, Cortland Place celebrated its 14th Anniversary Cruise Day and BBQ from 11am-3pm at the center. Over 1000 spectators enjoyed the picture perfect weather, delicious food, face painting, balloon art, Del's lemonade, good old fashioned popcorn and most of all, the spectacular display of over 100 custom & classic vehicles.
Cortland Place owner, Norman Audino, Sr. along with David Jasinski,
Executive Director, presented the three top vote getters with commemorative 2010 Cortland Place Car Show plaques and gift certificates.
In addition, a big thank you goes out to Cruisin' Bruce Palmer who emceed the festivities and also provided us with a variety of 50's and 60's music throughout the day.
We are also happy to announce that through the generosity of our attendees that $1,000 was raised from the event which benefited the Alzheimer's Association and The St. Jude Children's Hospital Foundation.
In closing, Norman Audino, Sr. and Norman Audino, Jr, owners of Cortland Place, extend their deepest gratitude to all the staff who worked so hard to make the day so special.
